After upgrade firmware to v.7.6, there is no split menu. From “redbook v7000 v7.6″, it says that we can do split by using”Create copy from this volume” which is not correct. After do that the new volume just duplicate. It’s not split volume. so if you need to do split volume you have to use command line only

svctask splitvdiskcopy -copy 1 -name IBMsupport1 12
